Certified Environmental Assessor of Sites Program

CEAA has developed a Certified Environmental Assessor of Sites designation for those who practice site assessments to the Canadian Standards Association (CSA) Z768 Phase I Environmental Site Assessment standard.  The regular program is now available by initiating applications on-line via the Canadian Environmental Certification Approvals Board (CECAB) website at www.cecab.org.

Applicants are required to have a minimum of five years of site assessment experience, having performed a minimum of 20 site assessments per year, for a minimum total of 100 site assessments, all performed to the CSA Z768 standard.  An allowance for formal training may be made at the discretion of the Registrar.  The minimum educational requirement is for a collegiate diploma in engineering or science discipline.  Applicants must also demonstrate that they have coverage under a valid Errors and Omissions insurance policy of at least $1 million CDN per claim.  There is also a written examination component.

Full details may be found at the CECAB website at www.cecab.org.
